Ensure Stability of Prices of Staple Materials and Bulk Oil, HD Accompanies the National Police Chief in Reviewing the Lemabang Market

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) Accompanies the National Police Chief, Jend. Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo visited Palembang’s Lemabang Market in order to ensure the availability of basic commodities and ensure that the prices of basic commodities remained stable during the holy month of Ramadan.

On that occasion, HD and the National Police Chief took the time to greet the women who were waiting in line to buy bulk cooking oil at affordable prices.

The National Police Chief in his press statement conveyed that related to the scarcity of cooking oil, he instructed the Regional Police Chief and his staff to immediately take action to map out which markets have not yet received distribution of cooking oil.

“When we visited the cooking oil warehouse, we got data that this week cooking oil producers can produce as much as 120 tons per day”, he said

In addition, he said that it was everyone’s duty to oversee the distribution of cooking oil so that it was quickly distributed to the market.

“I hope the regional police chief can determine which points have not been supplied and confirmed and provide escort for its distribution so that people can buy bulk oil easily,” he added.
