Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) accompanied by the Regent of Banyuasin, H. Askolani Jasi, held a Friday prayer safari while inaugurating the Sabar Mosque, Sungai Rebo Village, kec. Banyuasin I, Kab. Banyuasin.
Through this opportunity, HD, representing the people of Sungai Rebo Village, expressed his gratitude for the kindness that H. Bastiar had done in donating land and building mosques.
“This is a good example of Mr. Bastiar and his family in expressing their gratitude for the smooth running of their business. On behalf of the community, I thank you for the waqf that has been given”, he said.
HD also asked the surrounding community to be able to make maximum use of the mosque by being filled with religious activities.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Banyuasin, H. Askolani Jasi, thanked the Governor of South Sumatra who took the time to attend to inaugurate the Sabar Mosque of Sungai Rebo Village and hoped that the presence of the Governor of South Sumatra in Sungai Rebo Village could provide benefits to the surrounding community and add information to the Governor in making policies.
“We would like to thank the governor who has carried out a Ramadhan safari in Sungai Rebo Village. Hopefully this will benefit us all and can provide the governor’s consideration in making policies”,.
