Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After the Recommendation Formulation Team for the Governor of South Sumatra’s Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) held a discussion meeting from 10 to 14 April 2023, today, Monday (17/04/2023) the Recommendation Formulation Team submitted recommendations at the Plenary Meeting of the LXIII Plenary Meeting (63) Legislative Council (DPRD) South Sumatra Province (Prov.Sumsel).
Plenary Meeting LXIII (63) DPRD Prov. Sumsel with the agenda of submitting the recommendation of DPRD Prov. South Sumatra to the Governor of South Sumatra against the LKPJ of the Governor of South Sumatra for the 2022 Fiscal Year (TA) led by the Chairperson of the Prov. DPRD. South Sumatra; Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH, together with Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; Hj. Kartika Sandra Desi, SH, MM and H. Muchendi Mahzareki, SE, attended by the Governor of South Sumatra; H. Herman Deru, and representatives of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and other invited guests.
In the recommendation of DPRD Prov. Sumsel which was read by Ahmad Firdaus Ishak, SE, M. Si presented recommendations from various fields which were the result of the discussion of the special committee that had been formed previously. Among the recommendations are:
1. Government Sector;
To improve the quality of public services so that OPD can provide various channels to become a means of public communication that will convey complaints and questions or suggestions. The intended channel must be responsive to public complaints.
2. Economic Sector,
In order to break the price chain that is manipulated by middlemen, ask the South Sumatra provincial government to build an auction market for plantation products or a Joint Management and Marketing Unit (UPPB) in every village in the smallholder rubber producing area and coordinated by the local government.
3. Finance Sector
In order for the BPKAD as a regional financial management official to further optimize coordination and synergy between all OPDs in preparing program and activity budgets in a measurable manner according to needs, prioritizing and prioritizing mandatory affairs which are the authority of the South Sumatra Provincial Government and complying with and guiding the applicable laws and regulations.
4. Development Sector
The South Sumatra Provincial DPRD hopes that each OPD needs to improve performance so that the budget can be absorbed in accordance with planning, budgeting and implementation.
5. People’s Welfare Sector
DPRD Prov. Sumsel supports the South Sumatra Provincial Education Office in achieving the activities that have been carried out in terms of the construction/renovation of SMA/SMK buildings. But still paying attention to other high schools/vocational schools that also need funds for light, medium and heavy construction and renovations.
After reading the recommendations from various fields with the points from the DPRD Prov.Sumsel in the closing section it was conveyed in general by the DPRD Prov. Sumsel can receive and understand the Governor’s LKPJ for the 2022 FY.
After reading the recommendation, it was followed by the procession of signing the DPRD Decree on the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra against the LKPJ of the Governor of South Sumatra for the 2022 Fiscal Year by the Chairperson of the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra and immediately submitted to the Governor of South Sumatra. The Plenary Meeting was closed by listening to the Governor’s remarks including conveying that these recommendations were very important:
“The inputs submitted are important for us to re-evaluate all policy directions that have been implemented and those that have not been implemented,” explained the Governor. (ojn/ril)
