South Sumatra Legislative Council Chairperson Attends International Healthy Walk with INLA

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The healthy walk event organized by The International Nature Loving Association (INLA) to commemorate International Friendship Day took place lively at the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD) Office Field on Sunday, 30 July 2023. This event was also attended by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., who was present to express her support for the positive initiatives of the organization.

The healthy walk event initiated by INLA aims to promote peace and friendship between nations through joyful and healthy activities. The series of activities began with morning exercise guided by a licensed instructor, then continued with a healthy walk around the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Office Field area.

In her remarks, Ms. Anita Noeringhati expressed her appreciation for INLA’s efforts in celebrating International Friendship Day. “I really appreciate and support the initiative of The International Nature Loving Association which has organized this health walk. Activities like this are important in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between nations, as well as encouraging the spirit of togetherness to achieve common goals in creating a more harmonious world,” said Ms. Anita in a quote sent to journalists.

The health walk event also attracted the attention of participants from various countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. They also participated in celebrating International Friendship Day and introduced their respective cultures and traditions.

Apart from the healthy walk, the event was also filled with art and craft exhibitions from local artists and natural products introduced by INLA. This exhibition aims to promote Indonesia’s cultural and natural wealth to international guests who attend.

On this occasion, Joko Prasetyo, as a representative from The International Nature Loving Association, revealed the purpose of holding this event. “We hope that this healthy walk event can become a momentum to build a stronger cooperation network between nations, as well as to spread the message of peace and love for nature to the whole world,” said Joko Prasetyo in his statement.

According to data obtained from the committee, this event succeeded in gathering more than 1,000 participants from various countries, including government officials, students, nature lovers’ communities, and the general public. Enthusiasm and high participation signify the success of this event in achieving its goal of celebrating international friendship and cooperation.

The healthy walk event which was attended by the Chairperson of the DPRD of South Sumatra Province, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., and various groups from within and outside the country ended in a high spirit of intimacy and excitement. It is hoped that this kind of activity can be an inspiration for many parties to continue to contribute in building good relations between countries and strengthening ties of friendship amidst the dynamics of globalization.
