Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Regional Administrators of the South Sumatran Chinese Indonesian Association (INTI) for the 2022-2024 term of service appointed by South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru totaled 101 people. Consists of 93 members of the South Sumatran Chinese Indonesian Association, 8 women from the South Sumatran Chinese Indonesian Association. Elected Chairman, Alvin Kennedy
“We are grateful that tonight is a very sacred event, and it is important for all of us that we have witnessed the inauguration which has a very noble aim to become the core of community organizations, interrelationships between government entrepreneurs and fellow entrepreneurs, as well as humanists. This is good news for all of us because we really need channel one in every friendly relationship,” said HD when giving his speech.
HD continued, before being sworn in, the candidate for chairman communicated with him. Because this organization is a very noble organization, he suggested that they should only be sworn in at the Governor’s Palace.
“This is an association not only because of different ethnicity, not only because of different religions, there is this binding goal that we must cultivate. So this cultural heritage must not be lost, we are no longer allowed to talk or differentiate ethnicity. So we have must mingle, I remind you that the hard task of Alvin, the newly appointed chairman, is to keep this province of South Sumatra as a zero conflict province” HD message.
At the end of his remarks, HD hopes that collaboration will be formed in districts/cities soon, which is very possible to reinforce this development. (mhn/ril)
