Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru said that we all know that the Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo (SRGF) event has been held for 5 consecutive years, this is my initiation as Governor and Pak Popo as Regent of South Ogan Komering Ulu so that OKU Selatan Regency is increasingly known for culinary, sports tourism, cultural arts and tourist destinations as well as their natural potential
This was stated at the Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo “Independence For Ride” 2023 Opening Ceremony.
“Lake Ranau is the largest lake after Lake Toba. This event has entered the national calendar and must be held every year,” said Governor Herman Deru (HD).
HD continued, This activity is an economic stretch which will increase hotel occupancy, home stay and culinary as well as the work of the community. Because this event is much loved locally, nationally and even from foreign countries such as Australia, France and Pakistan. Events such as the SRGF and the Lake Ranau Festival will be even more lively which requires coordination.
“I ask the TNI and Polri as well as the community to maintain security and conduciveness so that this event can run successfully” concluded HD.
South OKU Regent, Popo Ali Martopo feels proud to be able to return to holding the SRGF event for the fifth time and invites guests to enjoy culinary tours, jet skiing, nature tours and better. “Thank God, thanks to the support and support of Governor Herman Deru and all parties, SRGF 2023 has been a success,” said Popo.
The SRGF 2023 committee Fikri Heriyanto said that the competition categories were divided into three, namely Road Bike for 102 km, Mountain Bike for 68 km, and Mini Wheels/Seli for 34 km, Cycle for all or Fun Bike. This event was enlivened by Capital Artists Tri Suaka and Bella KDI. (mhn/ril)
