South Sumatra Legislative Council Submits Report on Phase II Recess Results for 2023

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) Member South Sumatra submitted a report on the results of the recess at the LXXIII Plenary Meeting (73) with the agenda of Submitting a Report on the Results of the Implementation of Phase II Recess Activities for the Leaders and Members of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra, taking place in the Provincial DPRD Plenary Meeting Room. South Sumatra, Wednesday (13/09/2023).

This report was submitted after previously Provincial DPRD Member. South Sumatra visited villages and sub-districts in each of its electoral districts from 2 to 9 September 2023.

The LXXIII Plenary Meeting (73) was chaired by the Deputy Chair of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; H.M. Giri Ramanda N Kiemas, SE, MM, attended by the Provincial Regional Secretary. South Sumatra; Ir. S.A. Supriono, OPD Representatives and other invited guests.

In turn, each spokesperson from the Electoral District (Dapil) submitted their report, starting with Dapil South Sumatra 1 with the reporter H. Yudha Rinaldi, Dapil South Sumatra 2 with the reporter Antoni Yuzar, SH, MH, Dapil South Sumatra 3 with the reporter Ahmad Firdaus Isak, SE, M.Si, South Sumatra electoral district 4 with reporter Lindawati Syarofi, SH, MM, South Sumatra electoral district 5 with reporter Yenny Elita, S.Pd, MM, South Sumatra electoral district 6 with reporter Dr. Ir. H. Syamsul Bahri, MM, South Sumatra electoral district 7 with reporter M. Oktafiansyah, ST, MM, South Sumatra electoral district 8 with reporter H. Suhada, South Sumatra electoral district 9 with reporter Susi Imelda Frederika, and finally South Sumatra electoral district 10 with reporter Nadia Basjir, SE.

The suggestions or aspirations of the community are still in line with the previous recess, namely, including: Government Sectors such as increasing allowances for BPD, RT, incentives for traditional institutions, etc., Economic Sectors such as Agricultural Equipment, Fisheries, Livestock, MSMEs, etc., then Community Welfare Sectors such as Education Facilities, Health, House of Worship Facilities, house renovations and so on, then what dominates community proposals the most is the Infrastructure Sector such as Construction of Roads, Bridges, Siring, Irrigation, Street Lighting, and so on.

On this occasion, it was conveyed to the South Sumatra Provincial Government that the results of the recess activities of the South Sumatra Province DPRD Leaders/Members from each electoral district would be taken into consideration and used as priority consideration for the preparation of future development policies for the South Sumatra Province.

The plenary agenda ended with the signing of the Provincial DPRD decision. South Sumatra regarding the submission of a report on the results of the Recess by the Chairman of the Plenary Meeting, the draft decision of which was first read by the Secretary of the Provincial DPRD.
