Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) attended the Opening of the Technical Guidance for Strengthening the Performance of Village Government Officials in Village Financial Management, Village Institutions, and Village Authority-East OKU Regency in 2021. It is organized by the State Apparatus Education and Training Institute (LPPAN) at the Wyndham OPI Hotel Palembang.
On this occasion, HD said that this Technical Guidance was very useful and needed to be done by every village to village officials in order to provide them with knowledge in running the right government and in accordance with the latest legislation on village government.
HD also said that one of the important factors that can improve a village is information.
“I hope that information on changes to Village officials regulations will always be updated so as not to miss the information to make it easier to adjust and implement,” HD explained.
Regarding the use of the village budget, HD reminded that the local government, either the Regent, the Camat, or the Village Head, must be able to make a legal aspect to provide guidance to the Village Head in using his village budget.
HD also asked the examiner to provide guidance, from planning to the use of the village budget, in order to avoid legal matters and provide early prevention when they were indicated that they had committed a mistake.
East OKU Regent, H. Lanosin, ST said that technical guidance was carried out in 3 stages, aimed at educating and providing knowledge to village apparatus so that they would have sufficient insight in running village governance. (ojn/ril)
