Sandiaga Uno is preparing a creative economic ecosystem to welcome tourists

Probolinggo, The Indonesia Post – Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahudin Uno is preparing a creative economy ecosystem to welcome tourists coming to Probolinggo City, East Java.

“The city of Probolinggo is the gateway to priority tourist destinations,” said Sandiaga in a creative economy workshop (ekraf) at the Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Building in Probolinggo City, Saturday.

According to him, several priority tours namely Bromo, Tengger and Semeru, however, are still complained by the public because they have not departed from Probolinggo City.

“Therefore, we are aiming at the workshop to prepare from an ecosystem perspective so that Probolinggo City becomes the gateway to these world priority destinations,” he said.

Through this event, he continued, Kemenparekraf hopes to be able to explore, utilize, grow and develop the region’s leading creative economy, as well as build awareness and commitment of all stakeholders so as to create a conducive ecosystem for the development of creative districts/cities.

“There are several tips. There are 3 sides, namely innovation, adaptation, and collaboration that must be owned by the participants. They must have these three sides if they want their products to be more advanced and known by the public,” he said.

However, don’t forget to frame it with 3G, namely gercep (moving fast), echo (moving together), and gaspol (work on everything to create jobs).

“I also invite all MSME actors to hold a special event every month so that they can drive the regional economic cycle,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Probolinggo City Secretariat General Administration Assistant, Retno Fadjar Winarti, said that Sandi Uno’s arrival was a good momentum for the residents of Probolinggo City.

“We have great hopes that the presence of the Minister and the team will hopefully provide new knowledge for the residents of Probolinggo City, especially the entrepreneurs who are present,” he said.

He hopes that MSMEs can develop their businesses in new ways, adaptive to technology and of course more creative, so that the new knowledge can be applied in developing their businesses and will also have an impact on economic development in Probolinggo City to become more advanced. (mhn/bbs)
