Surabaya, The Indonesia Post – An aircraft (Pasud) training type G-36 Bonanza T-2503 belonging to the Indonesian Navy had an accident and crashed in the Surabaya West Shipping Line (APBS), East Java, Wednesday.
“The plane had an accident while carrying out exercises with KRI-KRI in the ranks of the Second Commando Armada,” said Head of the Information Service of the Second Commando Armada Lt. Col. Asep Aryansyah in a written statement in Surabaya.
According to Lt. Col. Asep, the cause of the T-2503 crash is still unknown.
Currently, he said, the Navy has deployed 13 KRIs, 1 KAL, 1 Kopaska Team, and 1 Dive Team and is led directly by the Commander of the Armed Forces II and Commander Guspurla Koarmada II. (mhn/bbs)
