Herman Deru Receives Draft of Proposed Infrastructure Development for Lahat Regency in 2021

Palembang,  The Indonesia Post – Entering the 2021 budget, the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru (HD) has again provided stimulants for 17 districts / cities throughout South Sumatra to achieve their priority programs for equitable development, including accelerating connectivity between regions.

“In 2021, I will continue to provide stimulants for infrastructure development in the regions,” HD said when receiving a visit from the Regent of Lahat, Cik Ujang and his staff in a coordination meeting regarding road conditions and the arrangement of the Lahat Regency area in the South Sumatra Governor’s Meeting Room, Friday (15/1 / 2021).

Why should there be infrastructure development? According to HD, this need can support all aspects of education, health and economic aspects, which all depend on infrastructure.

“We realize that out of 17 regencies / cities in South Sumatra, Lahat is an older regency compared to 10 other regions, so what we have programmed for this development stimulant actually answers all the questions of society so far,” he explained.

However, in this explanation and meeting, he hopes that there must be synergy in planning regarding infrastructure, this infrastructure can be in the form of roads, bridges and even strategic developments.

HD again emphasized that infrastructure development programs that must be prioritized include makrak projects, then development that will be of concern and development that becomes the face / makeup for the region or the region itself.

“It is no less important that this development must be completed this year. We should not give it any slack for the next year,” he explained. (ojn /rel)
