Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province, Dr. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., together with the Chief of the Indonesian Police, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, as well as the South Sumatra Forkopimda welcomed the arrival of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang, in order to attend the Opening of the XX Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) Congress in 2024 at Jakabaring Sport City, Palembang. Friday (1/3/2024).
The Indonesian Presidential Plane-1 landed at around 16.05 WIB, and the President was welcomed by a number of high-ranking officials, including National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Acting. South Sumatra Governor Agus Fatoni, Pangdam II/Sriwijaya Major General Yanuar Adil, and South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. A. Rachmad Wibowo, as well as a number of other figures such as Kajati Sumsel Bpk. Dr. Yulianto, S.H, M.H, and Chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH.
President Jokowi is scheduled to attend the inauguration of the 2024 2024 Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) XX Congress at Jakabaring Sport City.
This visit was also attended by Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, Military Secretary to the President Major General TNI Rudi Saladin, and Paspampres Commander Major General TNI Achiruddin.
It is hoped that this series of visits will open dialogue and cooperation between the central and regional governments, as well as provide support for important activities in the city of Palembang. It is hoped that President Jokowi and the South Sumatra Province Forkompimda can strengthen synergy for the development and progress of the South Sumatra region. (ojn/ril)
