Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., attended the Opening of the Sriwijaya Expo 2023 Exhibition Investment Culture Entertainment with the theme “The Spirit of the 77th Anniversary of the South Sumatra Province Synergizes to Realize an Advanced South Sumatra for All”, at the Dinning Hall Jakabaring Palembang. Wednesday (25/5/2023).
The event lasted for 5 days from May 24 to May 28 2023, presenting a complete and quality exhibition, promoting regional potential in South Sumatra Province and enlivened by well-known Indonesian artists.
This event is also the target for the promotion of the potential of districts/cities throughout South Sumatra. The event which was opened directly by the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman was attended by the Chairman of Dekranasda Sumsel Hj. Febrita Lustia Herman Deru, Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Forkopimda of South Sumatra, Regents/Mayors and Deputy Regents/Deputy Mayors throughout South Sumatra Province.
This activity is expected to increase product information in the region, so that it can be recognized and can follow national and global market competition.
“Hopefully our movement to encourage MSMEs can be carried out at any time, with our enthusiasm to help MSMEs continuously,” said the Governor of South Sumatra.
He requested that the relevant agencies be able to provide guidance to business actors so as to produce high quality products at low costs. He also appealed to regional heads to continue to support production, provide guidance, and facilitate businesses. (ojn/ril)
