Chairperson of the South Sumatra Legislative Council Receives PLN UID S2JB Audience

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – As a proactive step in an effort to improve service (customer focused) by listening to the aspirations of the community, State Electricity Company (PLN) UID S2JB management visited the DPRD Office of the Province of South Sumatra.

The General Manager of PLN UID S2JB, Amris Adnan, and his staff were warmly welcomed by the Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Hj. R.A Anita Noeringhati, SH. MH. in the VIP meeting room of the South Sumatra DPRD, Tuesday (11/4/2023).

Entering the Ramadan & Idul Fitri 1444H standby period, PLN has prepared 226 posts and 2,669 personnel to secure electricity.

Even before the standby period, PLN had also carried out electricity maintenance.

“We are trying to maintain the reliability of electricity so that during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr so that people feel comfortable worshiping when they gather with their families. A total of 226 posts and 2,669 personnel will be on standby for the upcoming Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods,” said Amris.

According to Amris, in order to maintain the supply of electricity to the community, electricity utilities also need to be maintained.

Therefore, the need for Forkopimda’s support in securing vital objects and educating the public.

The Chairperson of the DPRD welcomed the arrival of the PLN UID S2JB management who took the time to have a dialogue and audience.

“I am very open to the aspirations expressed because this DPRD should be the home for all people, including PLN,” said Anita

Anita said the disclosure of information and response from PLN has been very good to DPRD so far.

He advised that the development of electricity that is used for community activities such as village electricity so that progress can be accelerated.

“We will bridge the communication and coordination between PLN and other companies, agencies or institutions in the meantime to accelerate the development of electricity or whatever it is for the benefit of the people,” concluded Anita. (ojn/ril)
