HD : After West Java was assisted by oxygen, followed by Lampung, Bengkulu and West Sumatra 

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru attended the Oxygen Donation Appreciation for West Java Residents virtually with the Governor of West Java H. Ridwan Kamil and the Minister of Health represented by the Secretary General of the Minister of Health Drg Oscar Primadi, M.PH and the Minister of Industry represented by the Director General of Argo Industry, Abdul Rochim.

HD said what he had done by helping West Java in the availability of oxygen for Covid-19 patients was a humanitarian mission as a form of humanitarian concern against Covid-19.

HD said that South Sumatra’s oxygen needs were met by several corporations, PT. Ligacin, PT. Samator, PT. Pusri and CSR who provided assistance to PT OKI Pulp and Papper (Sinar Mas Group) which continuously produced 30 tons/day of Liquid oxygen

Meanwhile for transportation from PT Ligasin there are 2 isotank cars with a capacity of 15 tons and 8 tons (total 23 tons), PT Pusri 2 isotank cars with a capacity of 15 tons and 10 tons and 1 static isotank with a capacity of 20 tons (total 47,480 tons). Total liquid oxygen with 4 Isotanks is approximately 63.5 tons for + 3 days Under normal conditions, oxygen availability is relatively safe in South Sumatra.

“South Sumatra’s aid to West Java is 4 Isotank with a capacity of 85,840 kg, Following Lampung (in the process of filling at OKI Pulp), Bengkulu (in process) and West Sumatra (in process). The amount of oxygen that has been distributed by OKI Pulp from July 11- July 28, 275.82 tons which are still in the process, 28 tons totaling 300 tons,” concluded HD.

The Governor of West Java, H. Ridwan Kamil, really appreciates what Governor Herman Deru has done, by sending oxygen assistance to the people of West Java in need, the supply of oxygen for Covid-19 patients in West Java is much better and under control. (ray/mhn/ril)
