The Stranas PK targets are based on three focuses, namely licensing and trade administration, state finances and bureaucratic reform and law enforcement.
“In accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 54 of 2018, we are both moving forward in order to prevent corruption. The practices that we have carried out include in accordance with the mandate and policies of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, now is the time for us to change the paradigm of rulers and bureaucrats must shift to become public servants. What was previously served is the time to serve,” he said.
Firli said that the prevention of corruption carried out by this institution is not only by improving the system but also strengthening the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP).
“Corruption prevention carried out by the KPK is not only by improving the system but the KPK has taken part in strengthening the APIP. The KPK is involved in the preparation of the RAPBN and RAPBD, we want to make sure that in every planning, implementation, and during supervision there is no corruption,” said Firli.
Firli gave an example that in 2020, thanks to the cooperation of the KPK with ministries/agencies, it was successful in saving potential state financial losses of Rp592 trillion.
“In 2020, because of the KPK’s cooperation with ministries/institutions that are involved in controlling state-owned and regional assets, the KPK has resulted in saving potential state losses of at least Rp592 trillion. This figure is really big and the KPK continues to make efforts to save state-owned and regional assets,” said Firli. (ojn/bbs)
