Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru (HD) received an audience from the Executive Board of the Coordinating Board for Social Welfare Activities (BK3S) of South Sumatra Province.
This activity is in the context of friendship and at the same time introducing BK3S to the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
On that occasion, the General Chairperson of BKKKS Prov. Sumsel, Hj. Fauziah Mawardi Yahya explained that BK3S is an Agency/Organization that accommodates Social Welfare Institutions (LKS) in South Sumatra Province.
In addition, the presence of BK3S is also in order to ask for support from the South Sumatra Provincial Government in realizing the programs they have such as coaching LKS – LKS in South Sumatra.
Responding to this, HD said that the South Sumatra Provincial Government would certainly provide the intended support.
HD also suggested that BK3S can create a coaching program for assistants or caregivers from existing LKS in South Sumatra, such as nursing homes, orphanages and other institutions so that the personnel who work in these institutions have good morals.
“I want this organization to be a partner of the Social Service in overseeing the distribution of aid and guidance to assistants at LKS – LKS in South Sumatra, so that they have good morals,” said HD.
HD also said that BK3S needs existence in the field so that there is information that can be disseminated to the public regarding the activities carried out by BK3S itself. (jek/ril)
