Palembang, TheIndonesiaPost – The plan to develop Kenten Golf Course which will become an icon of Palembang City and a new tourist destination, will soon be realized.
This was proven when the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) together with KPK RI Chairman Komjen Firli Bahuri, Palembang Mayor Harnojoyo, the Chairman of PT. Pertamina cut the ribbon as a symbol of Palembang Kenten Area Development Plan.
As the best Golf course, Golf course plans will be redeveloped with developments such as ecopark, the addition of an urban park with open spaces and attractive tourist destinations. So that as a very important set of course this development is none other for the people of South Sumatra.
HD said the South Sumatra Provincial Government, Palembang City Government together with PT. Pertamina has agreed that the Kenten Golf course assets will be developed so that it will be useful for the community.
“Later the golf course will be improved with other city facilities and God willing to become a modern facility,” said Governor Herman Deru.
Meanwhile, Director of Golf Course Development, Teddi Kurniawan said the development of Palembang Golf Court will be carried out by optimizing the development of better and more beneficial golf courses for the South Sumatra Provincial Government, Palembang City Government and Pertamina.
In this development, he explained, he would continue to prioritize the development of green areas, the development of urban parks, as well as water catchments that would be maintained, moreover this area was used as an icon as an attraction to bring in tourists.
“With the cooperation of the Provincial Government, the City Government and Pertamina, this development will continue to prioritize Ecology in maintaining ecological functions and creating open spaces for people, culture and tourism by creating good destination and urban development by creating new jobs,” he concluded.
