Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru received an audience for the commander of the combat training center (Danpuslatpur) in the governor’s living room, Monday (10/8/2020) afternoon. Apart from confirming the realization of the breeding of 100 cows, the audience also discussed the plan to build a hospital at Puslatpur Baturaja.
Regarding cooperation with cattle breeding in Puslatpur land, the South Sumatra Provincial Government said HD would provide 100 cows to be bred and used as a model for farmers and breeders in South Sumatra.
“I hope that the giving of 100 cows with the cooperation system between the TNI and the South Sumatra provincial government will serve as a model for farmers and breeders that this is the correct way of livestock.” HD said
HD also hopes that later the calves will be returned to the Puslatpur management and then given to the community.
Regarding the current mako, according to HD, it already needs improvement, so those who practice will feel more comfortable. Likewise from the medical side, the South Sumatra Provincial Government also supports the Construction of Hospitals in Puslatpur with the hope of having international standard services and can also be used by the surrounding community.
Meanwhile, Danpuslatpur Baturaja, Brig. Gen. Joseph Robert Giri S.IP, said that in September, 3,000 American TNI personnel would conduct training at the Puslatpur. But still considering and seeing the current pandemic situation and conditions.
“Therefore, the TNI also requested cooperation from the South Sumatra Provincial Government regarding the improvement of the Mako,” he said.
For further information, Robert continued, the cooperation that has been carried out by the TNI with the provincial government is now underway. For example, planting 10 hectares of elephant grass, planting 3,000 durian seeds from the South Sumatra Provincial Forestry Service.
