South Sumatra DPRD Calls Five Points of Lintas Tengah Road Severely Damaged

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The state road, Middle lane crossing (Jalan negara, Lintas tengah), Palembang-Lubuk Linggau Via Sekayu (Musi Banyuasin) since November 2021 until now has been badly damaged and there has been no repair from the Road Hall.

“There are five road points that are vulnerable and they have become subscriptions for road users every year, every month and every day, the roads are never good,” said Deputy Chairman of Commission IV Legislative Council (DPRD) South Sumatra (Sumsel) Hasbi Asadiki, Sunday (16/1) .

According to this member of the DPRD of South Sumatra for the Electoral District (Dapil) VIII (Musi Rawas – Muratara – Lubuk Linggau), the cause of the damage to the road was due to erosion from the river that spilled onto the road.

“We can’t understand it, it’s in front of mato, the Road Hall responds slowly, they continue to repair but it’s not optimal, the erosion continues, two weeks is good, two weeks is destroyed again, the destruction is really bad, especially during the rainy season, especially when vehicles with tonnage pass through the area. the road is outside the burden of the road body and it is a public complaint to the Balai, “he said.

“We have conveyed to the media two weeks ago so that this road is immediately addressed by the Balai, because it is a state road,” he said.

According to him, the damaged road is vulnerable to security, especially at night.

“We are waiting for a meeting to invite Balai, in the near future we will invite the Balai to coordinate the completion of the middle causeway in South Sumatra Province,” he said.
