Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The chairman of the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD Sumsel), RA Anita Noeringhati, admitted that she was surprised by the queues of fuel oil (BBM) at the Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU). Long queues are still a common sight before and after the fuel price hike.
“I am concerned that the queues are so long. It’s not just the motorbikes, the queues for the trucks are incredible too. We have to find out why this happened,” said Anita, Friday (9/30/2022).
1. Witness the view of the long queue
Anita explained that she witnessed firsthand the view of the fuel line snaking along the Sumatra Cross road. She is concerned about this condition.
“The problem is what happened, that’s why we will ask Pertamina about this,” she said.
2. South Sumatra DPRD summons Pertamina
next week
Anita said that the queue is natural if it occurs when the price of fuel has not gone up. However, after the price increase, fuel is even more difficult to find by the public.
“Next Monday we will invite a meeting
Pertamina, Hiswana Migas, and the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources for asking for an explanation why there is still a queue
the length of the vehicle at the gas station,” she explained.
3. The fuel line in Palembang occurs
it’s been almost 3 months
The fuel line in South Sumatra was reduced after
central government raises BB prices at the beginning September 2022 ago. Entering the middle to the end of September, long lines of vehicles began to occur again. This condition makes long traffic jams occur at every gas station. (ojn/bbs)
