Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairman of the legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province (Sumsel), Hj. RA Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., attended the ceremony to commemorate Bhayangkara’s 77th Birthday. The ceremony was solemnly held at the Griya Agung Palembang Building, last Saturday. In commemorating the Bhayangkara Anniversary this time, the National Police carried the theme “Precise Police for the Nation, Peaceful Elections Towards Golden Indonesia”.
On this occasion, RA Anita expressed her hope that the National Police would be more precise and loyal in serving their beloved homeland. As Chairman of the DPRD of South Sumatra, he also expressed his appreciation and full support for the role of the National Police in maintaining security and public order in South Sumatra.

“Hopefully the Police will be more precise and loyal in serving their beloved homeland,” said RA Anita enthusiastically. “We must continue to support Polri’s efforts to maintain security and order in our area, so that people can live in a safe and secure atmosphere.”
This ceremony was also attended by various important officials, including the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol A Rachmad Wibowo and the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj. RA Anita Noeringhati. AKBP Rendy Surya Aditama, Head of the Bin Ops Directorate for the South Sumatra Police, acted as the commander of the ceremony, while the Head of the South Sumatra Police, Inspector General of Police A Rachmad Wibowo, became the Ceremony Inspector.
During the 77th Bhayangkara Anniversary ceremony, the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief and the Commander of the Ceremony conducted inspections of the ceremonial troops, which consisted of all Polri functions, from Sabhara, Criminal Investigation Unit, Polairud, to the TNI. All of these troops show cohesiveness and unity in maintaining security and public order.
Furthermore, in a moment of silence, South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol A Rachmad Wibowo led solemnly, inviting all ceremony participants who were present to honor the heroes who had fought for the integrity and security of the country.
Not only that, the South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Pol A Rachmad Wibowo also gave awards to members of the South Sumatra Police who had carried out their duties properly. The Star of Honor is given as a form of appreciation for their dedication and service.
Not only to members of the South Sumatran Police, the South Sumatran Police Chief also awarded Gold PINs to a number of Regional Heads, including the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru, the Mayor of Palembang Harnojoyo, the Regent of Pali Heri Amalindo, the Regent of Banyuasin Askolani, and the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj. RA Anita Noeringhati along with other regional heads.
In his remarks, the South Sumatran Police Chief, Inspector General of Police A Rachmad Wibowo, SIK, reminded the importance of remembering the struggles of his predecessors in forming Bhayangkara, which started from the Majapahit Kingdom era to the time of Indonesian Independence. “We hope that with this very lively celebration at Griya Agung, we can remember the struggles of our predecessors. Until the birth of this Bhayangkara,” said the Kapolda.
The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, also congratulated Bhayangkara’s 77th anniversary and hoped that the police would continue to carry out their duties properly. “Through the celebration of the 77th Bhayangkara Anniversary, we hope that the police will be more advanced, improve their performance, and become a good example for the community. Thus, a strong relationship is established between the police and the community,” said the Governor of South Sumatra. (ojn/ril)
