Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairperson Hj RA Anita Noeringhati SH MH attended a cross-sectoral coordination meeting in the framework of the readiness for the 2023 Musi rhombus operation at the South Sumatra Regional Police. The security operation (Ketupat) Musi 2023 operation will last for 14 days (18 April to 1 May 2023).
During the 2023 Musi Ketupat Operation, Anita appealed to the people of South Sumatra who will be carrying out Eid homecoming to be more careful.
“If travelers are tired or sleepy, the Musi 2023 Ketupat Operation provides homecoming posts provided by the South Sumatra Regional Police.
The South Sumatra Police ensured that security and service for the Eid al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1444 H holiday would be safe and conducive by deploying a team from the South Sumatra Regional Police and related agencies.
This was stated by the Head of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Inspector General of Police A Rachmad Wibowo SIK after directly presiding over a cross-sectoral coordination meeting for the 2023 Ketupat Musi Operation in the 7th floor Hall, South Sumatra Police Headquarters, Tuesday (11/4).
“From the results of the meeting that we held, there were several things that were discussed, but the most important thing is securing the Eid al-Fitr holiday service later, by preparing a joint team of 5,085 personnel,” he told reporters.
As many as 1,825 personnel have been prepared for the South Sumatra Regional Police personnel and the rest are a combination of related agencies, both government and others.
To ensure the comfort of the community on the main road, 87 posts have been prepared, consisting of security posts, services and integrated posts that are deployed.
“We will place security posts in areas visited by the community,” he said. (ojn/ril)
