Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Members of the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD) for the electoral district (Dapil) III which includes the Regencies of Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) and Ogan Ilir (OI) are conducting a phase II recess activity in 2022 from 12 to 18 July.
On the second day of recess, Tuesday (12/7/2022), members of the South Sumatra DPRD, led by the coordinator of the Junaidi group along with Muchendi Mahzareki, Ike Mayasari, Ali Imron, H Nawawi, Sri Sutandi, Ahmad Firdaus Ishak, and Askweni, held a meeting at 5 The village plus the sub-district office is also in Pampangan District, OKI Regency.
The five villages are Keman, Kandis Village, Ulak Can Village, Pampangan Village, Pampangan District Office, and Seri Win Village.
On that occasion, a number of villages represented by their village heads expressed a number of aspirations to the representatives of the people of South Sumatra.
Starting from assistance for repairing damaged roads, providing street lighting, building existing walls or earth embankments to prevent landslides, as well as box culved to reduce flooding.
Recess coordinator Junaidi said it was his duty as the representative of the people of South Sumatra province to meet and go directly to the community, in return for accepting the aspirations of the people who had voted for them.
So, the aspirations of the ladies and gentlemen, God willing, we will submit and evaluate them to be brought and fought for to the Governor of South Sumatra so that they can be realized,” said Junaidi.
The same thing was expressed by Muchendi Mahzareki, if his party will try to fight for what the Pampangan residents expect to be better.
Including development can be evenly distributed.
“We will try to absorb the aspirations, and later we will fight for it to be budgeted in the South Sumatra Regional Budget in the future,” he concluded.
One of the representatives from the village head, namely the Pampangan village head, Nurul Asma, said that if there are still some matters of financing for development that have not been covered in his village, so that the South Sumatra DPRD member’s recess can benefit his village.
“Hopefully what has been proposed can be realized so that in the future Papampang Village will be even more advanced,” he said. (ojn/bbs)
