Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) may accept the South Sumatra Provincial Governor’s Response to the General View of the South Sumatra DPRD factions regarding the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) for Amendment to the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of South Sumatra Province for the 2022 Fiscal Year.
This was conveyed at the LV (55) Plenary Session of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD continued, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, H.M. Giri Ramanda N Kiemas, SE MM, attended by the Deputy Governor of Sumse Ir. H. Mawardi Yahya and OPD representatives and other invited guests.
In his answer, the Governor of South Sumatra conveyed the views and questions of the factions, such as the budget, Regional Revenue, Regional Expenditures, related to education, health, youth and sports, women’s empowerment, people’s welfare, infrastructure development, and others. others related to improving the quality of life of the community.
Then regarding the increase in the price of fuel oil (BBM) the Governor explained, regarding the rejection of the adjustment to the increase in fuel prices, the Provincial Government of South Sumatra can understand and accept the rejection.
He said that the South Sumatra Provincial Government would try to forward to the Central government.
“However, we can explain that the increase in fuel prices has been carefully calculated, including the impact that can cause inflation on national economic activities,” said Deputy Governor Mawardi Yahya.
He continued, the government has carried out a series of policies to reduce the impact of rising fuel prices, and in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 134/PMK.07/2022 requires Regional Governments (Province/Regency/City) to refocus 2 percent of the remaining funds.
