Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Elen Setiadi attended Spectaxcular 2024 which is a series of 2024 Tax Day Commemoration. Held in the Parking Lot of the South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Islands DJP Regional Office, Kambang Iwak, Sunday (7/14/2024).
Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi said that taxes play a very important role in national life, especially in the implementation of development, because taxes are a source of state revenue to finance all expenditures including development expenditures.
“There are two taxes, there are central taxes and regional taxes, today we commemorate the National Tax Day as a whole, which is carried out by the Tax Regional Office is the main task of the Central Government in this case the Directorate General of Taxes, later of course we will get results from there too. We encourage to increase tax potential and revenue, with the hope that if the potential tax revenue increases, of course the profit sharing will also increase,” he said.
