The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, said he was proud to be able to enjoy the morning coffee while upstairs enjoying the Musi river and take a close look at the cockpit and navigation platforms.
“This is the first time we organize coffee morning on the boat, this is one of the events that should be appreciated drinking coffee while enjoying the Musi river,” said Herman Deru in his speech.
He mentioned the importance of the existence of Transportation personnel on land, sea and air. All of that is part and obligation and responsibility to the people of the nation and state.
“It is such a heavy responsibility for Transportation Personnel, we need to support each other. I as the governor appreciate what you have done, including Ariud and Lanal, so we will continue to do so we know South Sumatra as a maritime area,” he explained.
Herman Deru also mentioned the importance of maritime affairs plus navigation. He considered that navigation was important in showing directions, including maintaining safety, it was all in navigation.
“We agreed that through the coffee event this morning, together we can help each other at least ease their duties. Congratulations on duty, hopefully this intimacy will continue,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Class II Port Authority of Palembang, Irwan, said that the first day of transportation on the ship was made for morning coffee.
He explained that in carrying out his daily duties he was always monitoring. Even though there are obstacles in the field, they can be resolved by deliberation.
