The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, expressed his deepest concern over the fire that hit the Pasar Bawah Lahat community housing which lost their property.
This was expressed by the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, accompanied by the Regent of Lahat Cik Ujang, S.H, when he saw the victims of the fire accident in Pasar Bawah Village, Lahat District, Lahat Regency.
“No human being wants a disaster like this and we should not blame it for this fire disaster.”
Deru added that there were 83 families and 352 people who had lost their homes and wanted to get a helping hand to get help from donors or were concerned about this disaster.
“For recovery, I ask the Perkim Agency to organize services, all agencies involved in both taking care of SIM, certificate and other needs for the community are free,” he said.
The governor’s assistance was provided in the form of a gas stove, clothes, rice and cash and assistance from the Sumsel Babe Bank. (ojn/ril)
