The Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Appoints South Sumatra to Host GIT Health Protocols

PALEMBANG, The Indonesia Post – Regional Secretary of the South Sumatra Province (Sumsel) H. Nasrun Umar received an audition by the Deputy of Bidkoor Kamtibmas Secretary of the GIT Task Force Iriyanto, S.Ip., M.Si, at the office of the Regional Secretary of the South Sumatra Province, Tuesday (24/11).

In the hearing, the Regional Secretary mentioned referring to Presidential Instruction Number 12 of 2016 concerning the National Movement for the Mental Revolution and the Decree of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Number 74 of 2020 concerning the Task Force for the Orderly Indonesian Movement (GIT).

The South Sumatra Provincial Government immediately followed up with the issuance of the South Sumatra Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 37 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Adaptation of New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Society in the Covid-19 Situation.

“The South Sumatra Provincial Government will guide this activity in accordance with the references contained in Pergub 37 as a follow-up to the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Law and Security’s program for an orderly Indonesian movement,” he said.

Nasrun further added, the South Sumatra Provincial Government will immediately gather all relevant stakeholders to fully support the GIT activities initiated directly by the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

“We will involve all stakeholders, it’s easy what we hope will be achieved in accordance with the objectives,” he concluded.

Meanwhile Deputy Bidkoor Kamtibmas Secretary of the GIT Task Force Iriyanto emphasized that the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polhukam), as the coordinator of the implementation of the Orderly Indonesian Movement Task Force (GIT) will carry out a working visit to South Sumatra for deliberation and orderly action. Health Protocol from 24 to 27 November 2020.
