Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru said that we must provide maximum service to investors because it is very much needed by prospective investors and investors for economic circulation that is beneficial for all parties, especially for the community.
This was stated by HD when opening the Business-Investor Summit Forum with the theme “Encouraging Regional Investment Growth through Development of Promotional Strategies and Improvement of Regional Infrastructure”.
“We have to change the mindset, we have to have character in the service such as a fast licensing process,” HD said.
It is clear that HD, attracting investors must produce a recommendation that the area is suitable for investment, meaning that in terms of services, it must be simplified, not lengthy, but must be shortened.
“Regarding infrastructure, not only roads but all network service infrastructure, we have to think about and calculate the return on capital of providers and service providers (interconnection). Rest assured the government will be present in the matter, don’t be too rigid, there must be a role for the community as well as in terms of empathy for investors,” he concluded.
Director of Infrastructure Planning Moris Nuaimi, SE, MT, MA said in a pandemic situation it was very important to invest to improve the economy and create jobs in the context of South Sumatra having potential such as palm oil and the existence of infrastructure such as toll roads.
Ka. Office of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Prov. Sumsel Dra. Hj. Megaria, M.Si said that the purpose of the activity is to promote regional promotion and strengthen the promotion and application of Investment Project Ready to Offer (IPRO) innovations.
HD also gave a Certificate of Appreciation to Companies That Have Partnered With Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Province of South Sumatra. (jek/ril)
