Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) accompanied the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (KAPOLRI) General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo reviewed the implementation of simultaneous vaccination acceleration at the Perahu Kajang Sports Center, Ogan Kemering Ilir Regency (OKI) in order to accelerate vaccination achievements in South Sumatra.
The KAPOLRI explained that this activity was previously carried out in Cianjur and the Banten region, and today in South Sumatra Province with the location at the Perahu Kajang Sports Hall, Kab. Ogan Komering Ilir.
“In the past week, the development of COVID-19 has reached an average of approximately 60,000 and this week there has been an increase and this is a concern for all of us. Several areas have become important notes for me where this region is above the national level,” he added.
On that occasion the KAPOLRI also listened to direct reports on the implementation of vaccinations in their respective areas from the Regional Police (Kapolda) throughout Indonesia virtually.
“To all Kapolda in Indonesia to be able to focus on carrying out vaccination activities and always monitor the community to continue to apply health protocols, so that vaccination achievements in Indonesia can immediately reach the target. For areas where the trend is still high, to be able to reduce activities and implement health protocols,” concluded POLICE CHIEF.
Also in attendance were the Sriwijaya Regional Military Commander Major General Agus Suhardi, South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Toni Harmanto, South Sumatra House of Representatives Chairman, Anita Noeringhati, FKPD Kab.
