Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – The population of Indonesia who has received a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccination has reached 44.9 million people, according to data from the COVID-19 Task Force on Thursday at 12.00 WIB.
According to data from the Task Force, the number of people who had received booster vaccinations on Thursday afternoon increased by 244,516 people from the previous day to a total of 44,901,397 people.
Residents who had received the second dose of vaccination on Thursday afternoon recorded an increase of 88,476 people from the previous day to 167,156,856 people or 80.26 percent of the total 208,265,720 residents who were targeted for COVID-19 vaccination.
Meanwhile, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination was recorded to have been carried out on 200,084,080 people or 96.08 percent of the target.
The number of residents who had received the first dose of vaccination on Thursday afternoon increased by 68,335 people from the previous day.
The government is trying to speed up the completion of the COVID-19 vaccination implementation to increase people’s resilience to the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 type corona virus. (mhn/bbs)
