Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The presence of the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru (HD) in the midst of the people affected by the flood disaster is now quite relieved. Apart from giving serious attention to its citizens, the presence of Governor Herman Deru also brought a number of assistance.
By boarding a wooden boat or rubber boat, Herman Deru approached every resident’s house which was inundated with water with a height of approximately 3 meters.
While providing basic food assistance, Herman Deru advised residents to be patient and maintain their health. “Be patient, the important thing is to take care of your health,” said Herman Deru when he went down to inspect the floods in Musi Rawas Regency, Muara Kelingi District, Tuesday (14/3).
It is known that there are approximately 2,258 heads of families (KK) and 29 villages affected by the floods. (mhn/ril)
