Dr.Hj.RA Anita Noeringhati SH MH was present at the disclosure of the drug distribution of 35 packages of dried marijuana by Pangdam II/Swj Major General TNI Yanuar Adil and his staff who received appreciation from the Acting Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni and the Head of the South Sumatra Province BNN, Brigadier General Pol Djoko Prihadi, S.H., M.H.

This was conveyed by Kapendam II/Swj Colonel Arh Saptarendra P, S.T., M.M., in a release, Palembang, South Sumatra, Tuesday (13/02/2024).
Kapendam conveyed that for the achievements made by Deninteldam II/Swj personnel in disclosing and thwarting 26,164 kg of Dried Marijuana drugs, Pangdam II/Swj gave awards to Denintel Dam II/Swj and Ajendam II/Swj personnel at the evidence handover ceremony to BNN Prov. South Sumatra, Tuesday (13/02/2024).
“The handover of the evidence was handed over to the Head of the Provincial BNN. South Sumatra and witnessed by Acting. “Governor, Chairman of the DPRD, Kajati at the Sudirman Building, Makodam II/Swj,” said Sapta.
“Apart from appreciating the quick movements carried out by his staff, the Military Commander also gave appreciation to Deninteldam II/Swj and Ajendam II/Swj personnel who participated directly in the activity,” added Sapta.
Regarding the quick movement carried out by his staff, he continued, it was an implementation of orders from TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto and TNI Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak to be responsive to problems developing in society.
“As is TNI PRIMA’s vision, TNI soldiers must be responsive to the problems faced by society, especially since this occurs in the midst of an election situation,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, in his speech, the Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Agus Fatoni, expressed his appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the regional government to Pangdam II/Swj and his staff for drug disclosure.
“This needs to be of concern to all of us, because it will damage the younger generation and the nation. For this reason, support and solidarity from all parties in drug prevention is needed.
Apart from drug eradication efforts, Fatoni also expressed his appreciation for various social activities carried out by Pangdam II/Swj and his staff, such as handling forest and land fires, stunting and other activities.
Meanwhile, in the same place, the Head of the Provincial BNN. South Sumatra Brigadier General TNI Djoko Prihadi, S.H., M.H., also expressed his thanks to Pangdam II/Swj regarding the efforts to stop marijuana drugs from Padang Sidempuan to Palembang.
“Currently, on a national scale, the prevalence of drug abuse in South Sumatra is ranked 5th. I thank Pangdam II/Swj and his staff for helping eradicate drugs,” said Djoko.
“In the future, BNN will further strengthen communication and cooperation with Kodam ranks, especially the Intel network to uncover drug trafficking,” he concluded. (ojn/ril)
