Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) in his speech during Friday Prayer Safari at Masjid Al – Ikhlas Jalan Panca Usaha Kel. 5 Ulu Palembang.
HD conveyed that the Covid – 19 Pandemic has changed the order of human life, even at the beginning of the Covid – 19 Pandemic that plagued Indonesia, we have experienced for 3 (three) months not carrying out Friday Prayers in congregation, this of course in addition to disturbing worship also reduces the value of friendship that we do.
“In this Covid -19 Pandemic situation we must be vigilant, but don’t be afraid, I have issued Governor Regulation (PERGUB) Number 37 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Adaptation of New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Society in the Covid-19 Situation in South Sumatra Province”.
I do this so that people remain productive, can continue to carry out activities as usual which of course still adhere to the Health Protocol by wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance (3M).
HD also invited the congregation of Masjid Al – Ikhlas not to be afraid to do the Vaccine “I myself have done it for the second time, and Alhamdullilah the body reaction I feel my soul feels healthier”. HD said.
In this opportunity, HD said that it had been almost 16 years since he had been doing Friday Prayer Safari around various regions, in this way he could stay in touch with the community and also be able to find out various types of mosque buildings and all the obstacles and problems that exist in the community.
On that occasion, HD also gave assistance. Rp. 75,000,000, – (seventy five million rupiah) which will be used to repair the floor and roof of the mosque.
