Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru encourages regencies and cities in South Sumatra to create competitive development programs that can bring direct benefits to the community.
Where the program made is demanded to be super priority and is targeted to be completed by the end of this year.
“This year, we have made a different development program. This means that in 2021 I want finances to follow the proposed program, “said Herman Deru during a meeting with OKU Regent H Kuryana Aziz regarding the OKU Regency strategic development program, in the South Sumatra Governor’s Meeting room, Monday (8/2).
Even so, the proposed program will of course be carried out further studies so that the Special Governor Assistance (Bangubsus) fund that will be disbursed can be realized for programs that are indeed priority.
“It is not just road and bridge infrastructure that is a priority. There are other needs that must be developed such as the market. However, we should not create new markets, but rather enhance existing markets so that they can further increase their economic activities, “he explained.
Not only that, the proposed development program must also be competitive. Because in addition to being an icon for the region, it will also boost the people’s economy.
“Including non-physical development issues such as internet signals, it is also a need of society today. Next, the quality of agricultural production such as rubber must be increased, so that our production can continue to compete with other countries. All parties, both the ranks in the Pemprov and Pemkot and Pemkab must work together, “he explained.
It is known that there are a number of strategic development programs that were explained by the Regent of OKU H Kuryana Aziz at the meeting.
Starting from building markets, proposing business equipment assistance, building bridges, agricultural extension centers, upgrading tourism objects, improving health centers, developing sports areas, and building police stations. (icn/ril)
