OKI, The Indonesia Post – During his visit to attend the 75th Anniversary of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Sunday (11/10/20) the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru stopped by and at the same time reviewed the construction work of the Al Hayza Mosque in Srinanti Village, Pedamaran District, OKI Regency. This mosque is special because it is proof of HD’s love for HD and its 13 siblings to their late parents Hj. Hayani and H. Hamzah.
Under the drizzling rain, HD directly observed the construction of the mosque on an area of one hectare. Not only for the community to worship, HD hopes that the presence of the Al Hayza Mosque which is right on the side of the main road will later become a center for Islamic education. Even with a beautiful building design, he hopes the Al Hayza mosque will become a means of spreading Islam in the area.
“This is dedicated to Muslims and residents of Srinanti. Hopefully this can be used to worship both residents and drivers passing through transit. This is a proof of our love for our 14 siblings for our parents. That’s why they are named Hayza which stands for their name Hj. . Hayani and H. Hamzah, “said HD.
So far, the word HD happens to be around the main road, there is no mosque that can accommodate a large number of worshipers. Therefore, he hopes that the existence of this mosque can be utilized optimally. He is even grateful if later the mosque can be used as a means to carry out Islamic propagation.
“We pray that the construction of this mosque is on target. And in the future it will become a proud place of worship and a place of religious tourism,” he said.
Not only places of worship, the plan said HD around the mosque complex will also be a kind of productive fish pond which is seriously managed. Starting from the spawning pond to production. For this part, HD asked the village government and local residents to contribute.
“Hopefully the Al Hayza Mosque will be completed soon and can be inaugurated soon so that the benefits can be enjoyed by the general public,” said HD. (nfl/ril)
