Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, got so many benefits when carrying out the Friday safari agenda. Besides being able to see firsthand the condition of the area he visited, he could also know the condition of the surrounding community.

As was done when after carrying out the Friday Safari at the Nurul Iman Mosque, Jalan May. Zen Lorong Badai RT 32 RW 07 Sei Lais Village, Kalidoni District, Palembang, Friday (28/8).

On his way home, Governor Herman Deru HD suddenly approached one of the residents’ houses and it turned out that there was a mother who was sitting helplessly due to a stroke that she had suffered for about six years.

While asking directly to Mawarti and family, Governor Herman Deru suggested that Mawarti be brought to the Regional Government Hospital (RSUD).

“If you want to be taken to the hospital later, you don’t have to pay. Later you will be taken to the Siti Fatimah or Ernaldi Bahar hospital,” he said.

He also suggested that Mawarti be able to negotiate with her family to be taken to the hospital as soon as possible.

“You first negotiate with your family if you want treatment, you will take them to the government-owned hospital and don’t pay. Get well soon, ma’am,” said HD.

Knowing that the figure in front of her was Governor Herman Deru, immediately Mawarti could only sit there crying and thanked Governor Herman Deru for the help and attention. (nfl/rel)
