Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru Attends the 75th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) through a Virtual account wearing Komering’s typical traditional clothes at Griya Agung, Tuesday (17/08) morning.
This year’s ceremony for the proclamation of Indonesian independence at the Merdeka Palace was different from the previous year because the government changed the official state ceremony protocol.
The commemoration ceremony for the proclamation of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia this year was attended only by a limited number of invited guests involved in a series of commemoration ceremonies.
This time, the ceremony was only attended by President Joko Widodo and his wife and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and their wives.
In addition, those present at the Merdeka Palace to attend the ceremony were officials who were given the task of reading the text of the proclamation, the opening of the 1945 Constitution, and Pancasila.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the number of ceremony participants was limited, including 1 Ceremony Commander, Heritage Flag Raising Troops (Paskibraka) 3 people came from Paskibraka Reserve in 2019, 20 ceremonial troops from TNI / Polri, 24 Music Corps people, MC as many as two people, as well as the troops implementing the Shot of Honor during the Seconds of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence as many as 17 people from the TNI.
HD was not alone, who was also present at the virtual ceremony, namely the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H. Mawardi Yahya, Chairman of the TP PKK South Sumatra Province Hj.
