“This scholarship is given by the Aceh Government to people at various levels, from diploma to doctoral programs and they can choose to study both at home and abroad,” said the Head of the Aceh Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), Syaridin in Banda Aceh, Wednesday .
He explained that scholarship registration has been open from Tuesday 16/3 to April 30 next and the administrative selection process and those who pass the administrative selection will be announced on 21/3.
“After the document verification will be carried out a written test and those who pass will be interviewed before being appointed as scholarship recipients,” said Syaridin.
Syaridin said, of the more than two thousand quota, the public could choose 21 scholarship sources from various levels including Diploma I of Agrarian Affairs, College of Land Transportation, Aceh Carong Diploma, Domestic Achievement S1, International Tahfiz S1 (already completed selection), and S2 in and abroad.
Furthermore, there are teacher professional education scholarships, Masters in cooperation with USK-Rhode Island, Masters in cooperation from DAAD, Masters in Tahfid Abroad, Specialists, S3 DAAD, S3 for lecturers in PTS / PTN in the country, doctorate from domestic and foreign communities and scholarships for financial assistance. education for S2 and S3 levels.
Especially for the Aceh Carong Diploma scholarship program for underprivileged people and victims of conflict, prospective students can register themselves in their respective districts / cities.
“BKPSDM which will later send the names of prospective scholarship recipients to BPSDM Aceh for then proposed to study at 10 polytechnics in collaboration with the Aceh government,” said Syaridin.
The Aceh Carong Diploma program scholarship is indeed proposed directly by the district / city, where the district government is the party that most knows the economic condition of the prospective scholarship recipient’s family.
However, after all names have been proposed, BPSDM Aceh will still re-verify the data of the prospective students to ensure they are indeed entitled to receive scholarships from the Aceh government.
He said specifically D1 and D3 Aceh Carong for the poor and victims of conflict was a cooperation program between the Aceh government and the 10 best polytechnics in Indonesia.
“Our children who complete SMA / SMK / MA graduates from 2019 to 2021 can register in their respective districts / cities,” said Syaridin.

He said that especially for scholarship applicants with already working status, the candidates must pocket a leave from work permit from their direct supervisor.
The Head of the Aceh Secretariat’s Public Relations and Protocol Bureau, Muhammad Iswanto, said the Aceh government scholarship was open to the public through an open and transparent selection.
