Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting (Acting) Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni launched and appreciated the Website of the Prabumulih City Economic Post, Handling Extreme Poverty, Inflation and Stunting at the Hall of the Prabumulih Mayor’s Official Residence, Friday (22/3/2024).
Fatoni hopes that this innovation and breakthrough can be imitated by other communities. That way, all government priority programs can be coordinated, can be monitored properly and can be followed up if there are problems.
“This is a form of information openness and can be accessed and known widely. “And it is a follow-up to the acceleration of priority programs that have been jointly launched,” he said.
Handling forest and land fires and flood disasters, handling stunting, handling extreme poverty, elections and regional elections and other activities that need to be a priority have been achieved well thanks to the cooperation of all of us, he added.
“The achievements of South Sumatra Province are quite encouraging, so we need to improve these achievements. “Our economic growth is the second highest in Sumatra, inflation is quite controlled, the HDI is good, the reduction in stunting is the best nationally and also extreme poverty is experiencing the fastest decline on the island of Sumatra,” he explained.
Fatoni invited all parties to work together and collaborate in accelerating regional priority programs. We continue to carry out every simultaneous movement, including the Simultaneous House Renovation Movement, simultaneous sanitation construction, and simultaneous handling of stunting with foster parents simultaneously.
“Let’s maximize kindness and disseminate the information to the public so that South Sumatra’s development and innovation publications will cover up the hoax news and hate speech circulating,” he said.
It is hoped that handling stunting simultaneously with foster parents will make South Sumatra free from stunting. Apart from that, this also needs to be done with education about preventing stunting as early as possible for pregnant women and teenagers who are about to get married.
Acting Mayor of Prabumulih, H. Elman, S. T., M. M., reported that the establishment of this economic post website was initiated based on suggestions and input from Forkopimda in order to support central and regional government programs in alleviating extreme poverty, controlling inflation and reducing stunting.
“We tried this and it was done. “This economic post has accurate data by name by address and it is hoped that if there is a report there will be a follow-up,” he said.
This platform is used to directly monitor developments in handling extreme poverty, inflation and stunting by related agencies and can be accessed via Android devices. With the data and monitoring results submitted by the relevant OPD, the completeness and accuracy of the information on this website is maintained.
He revealed that in Prabumulih there are 127 families of poor people, including 7 houses that are truly uninhabitable on their own land with the support of BSB CSR, and there will also be house repair assistance from Baznas and Pertamina.
“The aim of this economic post is to be able to see what data is needed and update it on the website. “So that the relevant OPD can see and implement programs that are right on target according to existing problems,” he said.
The Head of the South Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office was represented by the Assistant for Military Crimes at the South Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office, Col. Chk Askari, SH, MM., said that this platform is a center for information and collaboration and a form of Forkopimda’s seriousness in completing joint national priority programs so that economic growth can be better maintained.
“With this website we get space to collaborate between stakeholders and the community in solving problems. “Take advantage of this economic post to be useful for the people of Prabumulih and the general public,” he concluded.
Also present were the Acting Regional Secretary of Prabumulih City, Aris Priadi, S.H., M.Si, Forkopimda of Prabumulih City, BSB Operational Director, Arief Yulianto, Heads of South Sumatra OPD. (ojn/ril)
