Chairperson of the South Sumatra Legislative Council Accompanies Military Commander II/Sriwijaya on TNI 77th Anniversary

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), RA Anita Noeringhati, attended the 77th Indonesian National Army (TNI) Dirgahayu ceremony with the theme ‘TNI Is Us’ at Kuto Besak Fort, Palembang, Wednesday, 05/10/22.

Pangdam II/Sriwijaya, Major General Hilman Hadi acted as inspector of ceremonies, while Lieutenant Colonel Pom Lanud SMH, Eko Slamet Widodo as commander of ceremonies.

During the ceremony, Hilman read out the ceremonial mandate of the TNI Commander, Andika Perkasa, who said that soldiers and TNI Civil Servants should always maintain public trust in the TNI by acting and speaking in accordance with the TNI’s main duties.

“Based on the results of various survey institutions, the TNI has the highest trust from the public, including the results of the Indonesian Political Indicators (IPI) survey on June 24, 2022, where the TNI has the highest trust from the public at 93.2 percent. Therefore, I urge all soldiers and civil servants of the TNI to always maintain this trust,” said TNI Major General Hilman Hadi when reading the ceremonial mandate of the TNI Commander, Andika Perkasa.

The ceremony took place with wisdom accompanied by the handing over of a satya badge to members of the TNI for their dedication and loyalty to the country.

Furthermore, there was also an attraction of raising the red and white flag and banners saying the 77th TNI Anniversary which were flown in the air by TNI Paramotor Athletes.

Pangdam II Sriwijaya, Major General TNI Hilman Hadi said, this TNI anniversary is expected to make TNI soldiers better in the future. Moreover, maintaining unity and unity in the province of South Sumatra.

“We hope that all TNI soldiers can do better in maintaining state security, especially in South Sumatra Province,” he said.

In addition, Hilman Hadi added, it is hoped that the synergy between the TNI and the Provincial Government in South Sumatra can be maintained for the better with the various programs implemented.

“Hopefully the synergy between the TNI and the government will continue and be better,” he said.

“The big hope is that through the 77th Anniversary of the TNI, it is hoped that all soldiers will be better in the future in their duty to protect the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, especially South Sumatra Province,” said Sriwijaya Regional Commander II, Major General Hilman Hadi.

In addition to the Chair of the South Sumatra DPRD, Anita, also attended the ceremony of the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, the Mayor of Palembang, Harnojoyo, and the Forkopimda of the Province of South Sumatra and Palembang City, and all TNI soldiers, namely Kodam II Sriwijaya, Kodim 0418 Palembang, and their staff attended.
