Chairperson of the South Sumatra Legislative Council Attends the Inauguration of the South Sumatra ‘KADIN’ Board for the 2022-2027 Service Period

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., and Deputy Chairman of the DPRD, Mr. H.M. Giri Ramanda N. Kiemas, SE., MM., Attended the inauguration of the Governing Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Prov. Sumsel Service Period 2022-2027, which carries the theme “KADIN Synergy and Collaboration with the Government in Welcoming South Sumatra Gold 2030”, at the Ballroom of the Aryaduta Hotel, Palembang. Monday (06/02/2023).

In his remarks, the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Affandi Udji stated, in order to revive the business and industrial world in South Sumatra, all parties must join hands.

KADIN Sumsel in its work program promised to become one of the locomotives of an inclusive, collaborative economy for South Sumatra by synergizing with all elements or stakeholders, both the Provincial Government (Pemprov) and elements of the people of South Sumatra.

Affandi Udji further said, the work program of the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce and Industry had to be realized because the past Covid-19 pandemic had made it difficult for the business and industrial world to even paralyze. Therefore Affandi Udji under his leadership is determined to revive the business world in his work program

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammad Arsjad Rasjid said, the focus of KADIN in 2023 is to empower MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). “That’s why we launched an inclusive partnership product, Closed-Loop to raise the class of MSME players,” said Arsjad.

This step, according to Mohammad Arsjad Rasjid, in the context of realizing the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 in the future we have the biggest challenge, namely resilience, especially in the health, food, energy, productivity and logistics ecosystem sectors. (ojn/ril)
