Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD), Hj RA Anita Noeringhati SH MH inaugurated the new Class C building for Campus C Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School at Talang Jambe Palembang, Friday (20/1).
The inauguration was marked by the signing of the inscription which began with the reading of the yasin and praying together.
“Today is a very happy day, after a long struggle finally the new classrooms of the Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School can be completed and we inaugurated this morning,” said RA Anita.
It is known, the construction consists of 5 locales, sourced from a grant from the South Sumatra Regional Budget. RA Anita herself, as chairperson of the DPRD of South Sumatra, is very keen to oversee aid to Islamic boarding schools.
“As chairman of the DPRD of South Sumatra, I am very touched to be able to fight for classrooms for the students of the Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School,” she said.
RA Anita acknowledged that the development of the Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School was very fast because it had become a representation of the community. In the future, hopefully this pesantren will continue to develop into the hope and reference of the community.
“More specifically, the name of the classroom that will be inaugurated later is An-Nur, which literally stands for Anita Noeringhati’s name. May this building live up to its meaning, light. Can radiate knowledge and give birth to an intelligent generation. Amen,” she hoped.
In the same place, the Leader of the Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School KH Hendra Zainuddin expressed his gratitude for the inauguration of the new classroom building. This indicates that it can be used as a teaching and learning activity for students.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to Mrs. Anita’s struggle, since two years ago,” he said. (ojn/ril)
