Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) H. Cik Ujang, expressed his full support for the Cadre Training III (Advance Training) which will be held by the Coordinating Body of the Islamic Student Association (BADKO HMI) of South Sumatra in June 2025. This support was conveyed when receiving an audience from representatives of BADKO HMI in the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra’s Guest Room, Thursday (19/6/2025).
In the meeting, Cik Ujang called this training a strategic step in preparing a quality young generation who are ready to lead. According to him, this activity is an important investment for the development of South Sumatra’s human resources in the future.
“We really welcome this initiative. Cadre training like this will produce future leaders who are visionary and have integrity,” said Cik Ujang.
He also emphasized that the South Sumatra Provincial Government is always open and fully supports positive activities from youth organizations, especially HMI which has so far been a crucible for many national figures.
Through this Cadre Training III, Cik Ujang hopes that participants will gain knowledge and experience that is not only theoretical, but also applicable in building character and leadership.
“This activity will strengthen national values, moral integrity, and strategic analysis skills that are greatly needed in the modern era,” he said.
Cik Ujang also highlighted the importance of synergy between the government and student organizations in building productive communication and collaboration for regional progress. (rys/ril)
