Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H. Mawardi Yahya said that this was a breakthrough by the government in order to provide a certificate of waqf land and this was a clarity of rights and would benefit the community. This was stated during the 2021 Endowment Land Certificate Submission event.
“There are 90 certificates given to people in regencies / cities in South Sumatra. This is a breakthrough, “said Deputy Governor Mawardi Yahya (MY).
Clearly MY will continue to strive to accelerate the process of granting land certificates intended for waqf places of worship and education in accordance with the program of the South Sumatra BPN Regional Office which is also in line with the target of the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs / National Land Agency (ATR / BPN) .
“The issuance of land certificates, namely in 2025, all land in Indonesia has been registered for issuance of certificates,” he concluded.
Head of the Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) Head of the Regional Office of the National Land Agency of South Sumatra Province (Kakanwil BPN Sumsel), Drs Pelopor M Eng Sc said that in 30 days there are 90 certificates that continue to work for completion and in terms of processing certificates so that ownership rights are clear.
“In accordance with Governor Herman Deru’s request, all BPN ASNs should do waqf once a month,” he said.
