Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H Mawardi Yahya welcomed the Drag Race and Drag Bike Governor’s Cup championships. According to him, this championship is to find the seeds of automotive sports.
“We know that in South Sumatra there are a lot of talented automotive sports seeds. For this reason, the South Sumatra Provincial Government really welcomes this championship,” Deputy Governor Mawardi Yahya said during the Drag Race and Drag Bike Governor’s Cup Championship PT. Bukit Asam Cares for Youth at Jakabaring Sport City (JSC), Saturday (11/2).
The Deputy Governor considered that this championship was also a very good effort to facilitate automotive hobbyists, for that he thanked the SOEs (BUMN/BUMD) who participated in organizing this championship.
Therefore, the Deputy Governor really hopes for the participants of this championship to be sportsmanship.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the South Sumatra Youth Gathering Forum (FSPSS), Deliar Marzoeki, said the Drag Race and Drag Bike championships for the Governor’s Cup Championship were held for two days.
“On the day we held the Drag Race championship which was attended by approximately 250 participants. Then the second day was Drag Bike which was attended by 570 participants,” he said.
Deliar expressed his gratitude to the South Sumatra Provincial Government for supporting and supporting the Drag Race and Drag Bike Championships for the Governor’s Cup. (mhn/ril)
