Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Commission I Legislative Council (DPRD) South Sumatra (Sumsel) will form a Special Committee (Pansus) on the management of regional assets related to all crucial asset management issues and there are still many obstacles.
According to him, the basis for the formation of this special committee is Article 64 paragraph 1 PP. No. 12 of 2018 concerning guidelines for the preparation of the provincial, district and city DPRD rules.
“It is necessary to form a special committee on the management of regional assets, as we know that assets have many problems, many assets are not in physical control, controlled by third parties, there are also assets that we control, but the documents are incomplete, there are also our assets that are being sued by our people. lost, there are also assets that have not been recorded, maybe due to negligence and many problems,” said Chairman of Commission I of the South Sumatra DPRD, Anton Yuzar when met at the South Sumatra DPRD, Monday (25/4).
With the formation of this special committee, according to the PKB politician, everything can be open, comprehensive if South Sumatra has clear assets.
“And this asset is a big regional resources budget (PAD)for South Sumatra because our assets are not clearly located, there are also our assets, only photocopies, we need to make an official letter that has legal force,” he said.
According to him, this regional asset was obtained through buying and selling, grants and because of the order of the law.
“Legal orders, for example, the assets of SMA-SMA have not been transferred to the province, the SMA still belongs to the district and city, therefore the law’s order should have been clear in 2016 but 2022 is not yet clear, now this is homework for the Provincial Government This requires seriousness, requires courage from the South Sumatra Provincial Government, if we do not dare and are afraid that people will take this asset, we need courage,” he said.
In fixing this asset problem, according to him, collaboration between all parties is needed, not only BPKAD as the manager of regional assets but involving OPD and other agencies.
“Commission I will propose a special committee on the management of regional assets, because Commission I is a partner of the BPKAD in charge of assets, so the South Sumatra DPRD will form a special asset committee but the initiator is Commission I of the South Sumatra DPRD,” he said.
It is planned that the formation of this special committee will begin with scheduling and be submitted to the leadership of the South Sumatra DPRD after Eid and then brought to the Deliberative Body (Banmus) meeting and immediately in plenary and the South Sumatra DPRD factions will send their representatives to this special committee.
