Ganjar said that the Semarang-Demak Toll Road will be operated during Christmas and New Years

Demak, The Indonesia Post – Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said the Semarang-Demak Toll Road Section II of the Sayung-Demak section can be operated during the Christmas and New Year holidays to ease traffic congestion in the local area.

“In general, the 16.31 kilometer toll road section has been completed and leaves details such as signs and toll exits, hopefully in Nataru. Maybe it can be used, even though it’s a trial, not yet paid,” he said. in Demak Regency, Tuesday.

He admitted that he had tried to pass the toll road section, while the comprehensive trial phase was immediately carried out by the authorities.

“This is actually the long-awaited hope from the people in Sayung and its surroundings to become Semarang-Demak so that what was hoped for this can be a way to break down traffic jams, God willing, it will be useful,” he said.

According to him, the Semarang-Demak Toll Road, especially Section I, is also a solution for controlling the tidal waves that often hit the area.

“Yesterday, the embankment was tested with a construction designed by the children of this nation, it feels quite successful so far,” he said.

The former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives also expressed his highest appreciation to the residents who have supported the toll road construction project.

Ganjar hopes that a similar attitude will occur in the construction progress of the Section I Semarang-Demak Toll Road.

“Ask for your support so that our communication will be much better and later, God willing, it will be really useful for everyone,” he said.

The Semarang-Demak Toll Road construction project has two work sections, namely Section I of the Kaligawe-Sayung section with a length of 10.39 kilometers and Section II of the Sayung-Demak section with a length of 16.31 kilometers. (mhn/bbs)
