Ganjar Pranowo saw the optimism of the nation’s children in the state speech

Semarang, The Indonesia Post – Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo saw a spirit of optimism among the nation’s children in President Joko Widodo’s state speech in the context of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

“His speech is a spirit of optimism as a child of the nation, extraordinary,” said Ganjar, after following President Jokowi’s state speech online at the Plenary Meeting Room of the Central Java Provincial DPRD Building, Semarang, Tuesday.

Ganjar is proud of Indonesia’s achievements, which was conveyed in President Jokowi’s state speech this year, which stated that Indonesia’s economic growth reached 5.44 percent in the second quarter of 2022, while Central Java’s economic growth in the second quarter reached 5.66 percent.

“Our inflation control is good, and thank God Central Java is also good today, we can be on par with other regions, so the national contribution is not high,” he also said.

From President Jokowi’s state speech, Ganjar saw that Indonesia had achieved a proud achievement, because in the current global situation it has received recognition from various parties.

One of them is an award from the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), because Indonesia has succeeded in not importing rice for three years.

“Earlier, it was actually speech to the nation, yes, conveying to the nation and the state for the achievements that have been achieved by the President, making it proud,” he said again.

Apart from the achievements conveyed, Ganjar also remembers President Jokowi’s appeal regarding some homework, namely the situation that will still face strong shocks.

“So we have to be prepared, especially energy, food and human resources, we must prepare much more precisely, harder, more and with more quality,” said Ganjar.

Jokowi in his state speech, said Ganjar, also did not forget a number of issues that still occur in Indonesia such as environmental issues, women and children.

“Because we have to take on the future with more complicated challenges, those were messages that I thought were good with warnings on the completeness of the existing issues,” he also said. (mhn/bbs)
